CB West had a great team win on Saturday vs Pennsbury. However, the injury bug hit again as another player had a major injury to top off an injury plagued week.

West started the scoring with a Bryn Boylan goal at the 19:54 mark in the first half. The goal came after a beautiful burst of speed and elimination skills from Boylan that left her at the top of the circle with space to shoot. Ryan Murray put home a goal with 3:29 left in the half to put West up 2-0. In the second half Boylan scored another goal with a shot from the top at 26:11. The final goal came from Taylor Mason who eliminated several players to earn space by the goal to flick the ball in. (18:56) Final score of 4-0 on 12 shots. West defensively was strong and consistent throughout the entire game. Casey Reichwein and Abby Gilvary played consistent throughout and we're able to keep Pennsbury from mustering many shots. Laura Kubit finished with 7 saves for the shutout for West.

With injuries plaguing the Bucks several players had to step up to fill in the gaps. Bridget Naylor and Anya DeAngelis did just that and came in and played hard. Ryan Murray was all over the field today putting pressure on the Pennsbury passes.

West looks forward to a district rematch with the Mount Monday night.
