Dan Grindrod opened the scoring when he bent a free kick around the wall inside the near post (12th minute). Matt Leonhauser scored the games second 6 minutes later when he calmy rifled Chase Riders rebound in from 22 yards out. Dan Grindrod hit Kevin Sheenan slicing though the "D". Sheenan went in on the Keeper and tucked the ball into the back of the net (25th minute). Chris Amaro sent a long cross to Vince Hosephros, Hosephros collected the ball and beat the GK cleanly (31st minute). We played exceptionally well in to first half and could've actually had a couple more goals. Credit CB South, they kept playing hard and created several good opportunities. Val Scarsellatto was forced to make several outstanding saves the preserve the shutout.
