Central Bucks West Comments
Central Bucks West handled CB South today as the away team at War Memorial Stadium. As has been the case in each of their four games this season, West got started scoring early! Less than 2 minutes into the game Bryn Boylan put the Bucks on the board off a corner (28:27 assist Ryan Murray) 7 minutes later Dani Dundas put an elevated lift on goal to score (21:09). Cadera Smith got in on the action with a 1 v 1 against the goalie after a beautiful step through interception and pass from Ryan Murray. (6:22) West earned a corner with time expired in the half which Bryn Boylan was able to bang home (assist Smith). West looked good going into the 2nd half with a 4-0 lead. It was more of the same in the second half as West continued to pass well. Bryn Boylan scored off two more corners to start the half (26:42 and 25:36) Taylor Mason and Ryan Murray were credited with assists. The last goal for West came off Dani Dundas stick on a Cadera Smith shot on the corner. (21:20). South broke up the shut out at 17:55 with a goal from Dietzel off a corner.
South goalie was credited with 23 saves. They had 5 corners and 6 shots on goal.
West goalie Peyton Fischer was credited with 5 saves. 22 corners (10 first half 12 second half) and 40 shots.
Bryn Boylan was on fire today with a 4 goal game. Dundas has continued to get her touches on the ball and cause mayhem around the goal cage. Ryan Murray's consistency on corner inserts paid off as West scored 5 of their 7 goals off corners. West is ready for their big game against crosstown rivals CB East at their stadium tomorrow.
South goalie was credited with 23 saves. They had 5 corners and 6 shots on goal.

CB West is well-coached and talented. They controlled the game and played as a cohesive unit. I have a great deal of respect for the job Courtney Lepping has done. While we are disappointed at the outcome, we are going to continue to work hard on both the mental and physical aspects of the game. Erin Chioffe had a great game today and Annie Brady played strong defense. This team has shown that it is capable of excellent play, but also, at times, may struggle with consistency. We are committed to improving every day and will grow and learn from this difficult loss.
