Our team started off the first half of the game very slowly. Council Rock South was able to capitalize and score five goals against us in the first half. The second half we were able to boost our energy and focus and we had a very competitive half. Council Rock South was only able to get three shots off on us in the second half. We were able to move the ball down the field more successfully. We also improved our defensive marking in the circle. The way we played in the second half is the way we need to play the entire 60 minutes. Wumi Popoopola had a lot of fantastic saves in goal. She was credited with 14 saves for the Trojans.
