Tonight cb south defeated Lasalle in a great 5 game match on our senior recognition night (26-24, 25-17, 16-25, 12-25, 15-12). After winning the first two games Lasalle came back to take the next two and push it to the deciding 5th game. The 5th game was back and forth before a couple of good plays gave south some seperation. Both of our seniors contributed in this win with Tyler Grochowski earning a kill and 5 digs and Jack Mayhew ( 2 aces, 9 kills, 7 blocks & 15 digs ). Other team leaders included setter Mark Macios ( 1 kill, 5 blocks, 6 digs & 31 assists ), middle Justin Koren ( 3 aces, 19 kills, 9 blocks & 5 digs ) And libero David Lulko ( 1 ace and 14 digs ).
