Upper Moreland's defense played tough the entire game. Abington had the ball in their end most of the game, so to hold a team like Abington to 12 goals was an achievement for UM. Emma Hood was awesome in goal with 9 saves. The defensive unit of Melanie Wittick, MG Wood, Emily Zanine and Maura O'Leary stayed strong throughout. Sydney Bachmayer had 3 goals for UM and Delaney Smith had an awesome game at both ends of the field scoring a goal and adding 2 assists.
