PW beat Hatboro 14- 9

Halftime score 9-6 PW

Hatboro came out strong and controlled the draws to capitalize going up 4-0. PW scored 1 but Hatboro kept playing agressive and strong, eventually leading 6-2 with 8 minutes to go in the half. PW didn’t give up continuing to fight and gain possession of the draw. PW’s offense put the ball in the net scoring the next 7 goals to tie and then take the lead at half.

The second half was a great team effort, Pw got alittle sloppy with the ball, but fought back keeping a lead.

Every player on the team contributed to the win. Whether it was a ground ball, interception, draw, positive turnover, or a defensive stop. Monica Dresnin,Sophie Kolkka and Ali diamond showed excellent hustle and fight in the mid field. Defensively Sam Ward, Cate Golden and Sarah Putsch came up with great defense. PW held Hatboro to 3 goals in the second half. Meghan Ely had several crucial saves throughout the game. Lilly Hanlon and Maddie Berman had good offensive goals.
