Wissahickon Trojans played hard, fought for the ground ball and earned multiple draw controls to add a win against Upper Dublin. After 2 yellow cards early in the game, causing Upper Dublin to jump ahead by 2 goals, WIssahickon battled back, ending the first half with a lead by 3. Emily Vervlied contributed 3 goals, 1 assist, 5 ground balls, 6 draw wins and 4 takeaways. Shannon Stagliano and Mary Matthews added 2 goals each, with Stagliano offering 2 assists and 1 ground ball control. Matthews had 2 ground balls and 1 takeaway. Sam Intrieri and Carolyn Wilde both netted 1 goal. Intrieri had 4 ground balls and 1 draw win, while Wilde had 2 ground balls, 1 takeaway and 2 draw wins. Claire Tarzia and Christina Tsiobikas helped with 1 assist each. Tarzia also added 2 takeaways. On defense, Kelly Dickson helped with 3 ground balls, Marie Dickson claimed 2 ground ball control, Megan DeGroat had 2 ground balls, 1 takeaway and 2 draw wins. Talia Abrahams added 1 ground ball.
