I was so proud of the effort these boys gave today. We really played together and stepped up as a team. Every player that I used tonight gave me their all and embraced the roll that I asked them to play to the best of their ability. Pennridge is a great team and to take a game off them was a big step in the right direction for our program. Justin Koren had a big night with 2 aces, 12 kills, 6 blocks and 6 digs. Setter Mark Macios spread the ball around to all our hitters and recorded 17 assists to go along with 2 blocks and 6 digs. Middle hitter Joe Karn finished with 3 kills, 4 blocks and 4 digs. Libero David Lulko played an inspired match with great passing off serve and also had a team high 12 digs along with an ace and an assist.
