Comments: We continue to struggle with possession, execution and turnovers, but the girls pulled it out. I think East was the more intense and aggressive team today, but we prevailed and had some crucial goals when needed. Bryn Boylan had her 100th career goal and played a solid game with 3 goals, 4 ground balls and 3 draw controls. Bryn put us up by 1 goal with 17 seconds in regulation. Rachel Shaw did a great job of running through lose balls on the defensive end, totaling 4 ground balls, and bringing the ball up the field. And Finley Ueland had a standout performance with a crucial caused turnover check and groundball which led to her scoring and tying up the game with 47 seconds in regulation. She also had the game winner on a free position and an overall solid game with 4 goals, 5 ground balls, 2 assists, 3 caused turnovers and 2 draw controls. East vs. West rivalries are always interesting when it comes to emotion and back and forth play. Although my team is young and played inexperienced throughout much of the game, I am proud they continued to fight and connect when we needed it most.

Defensively Sara Donnelly and Kayla Bartl played well. Whitney Dietz had a stellar game with 8 draw controls.
Anna Rosenquist faced 18 shots and had 6 saves.
