Forfeits and a couple close wins by seniors on Senior Night help Abington overcome the Bensalem Owls. The Ghosts started out up 12 nothing after Bensalem forfeited at 106 and 113, but the owls quickly evened the meet score after pins at 120 and 126. A major decision at 132 by Austin Hain, a Bensalem forfeit at 138, and a decision by Casey Hesdon at 145 put the Ghosts in the lead 25 - 12. Bensalem's Dylan Hansbury closed the gap with a first period pin at 152, however Abington Seniors Dan Kiesling, Steven Ingram, Luke Werner, Keshon Guiellmo, and James Webb helped the ghosts pull away for good. Kiesling started the winning run with a pin at 160 and Ingram followed up with a 3 - 2 win at 170 after being able to avoid a takedown in the waning seconds of the bout. By far the most exciting match of the evening came at 182 when Abington's Luke Werner scored a takedown at the end of regulation to tie his match up and then seal the win with a takedown in sudden victory. Guiellmo and Webb finished the scoring for the Ghosts with pins at 195 and 220 respectively.
