The Abington Galloping Ghosts hold on to defeat the Harry S. Truman Tigers 37 - 30 in their league opener with the help of several forfeits and good team wrestling. The Tigers opened the meet with a decision at 170, but the Ghosts won five of the following six bouts, including two forfeits, two take a 22 – 9 lead. Truman rallied winning four of the following five bouts from 120 lbs to 145 and took the lead in the dual meet 30 – 28. Abington’s Shane Rose locked the meet up for the Ghosts with his 5 – 2 win at 152. Other key wins for the Ghosts came from David McCaughey at 182, Keshon Guiellmo at 220, Danny Brett at 113, and Austin Hain at 132.
