Needing a win over host Upper Merion to secure a first place tie, Wissahickon was stung by a most rare match tie, 222-222, and in the process, had their hopes dashed of sharing American Conference honors with Plymouth Whitemarsh for the second time in three years. Battling blustery conditions and difficult greens at Gulph Mills GC, senior co-captains Zach Weiss and Mike Isaacman led Wissahickon's effort with scores of 42 and 43, respectively, with freshman Jesse Hunsicker also posting a 43. Upper Merion junior Eric Slawter came through with a birdie on the last hole to shoot 39 in ultimately helping his team deny Wissahickon their dream of a championship title.
