Summary - It really helped us to get on the scoreboard first. We scored fairly early and that really helped set the tone for the day. Then adding an insurance goal before the half was another important step in getting the win. We did not get a ton of scoring chances but we capitalized on the ones we got and limited Lower Merion's opportunities, especially in the second half. Paige's goal, which was the 3rd, make things more comfortable, although LM continued to fight and even got two corners with no time remaining on the clock. We have achieved our first two goals of the season (winning the SOL American Conference championship and winning a playoff game) now we are targeting our third goal! It was a solid team effort, especially by our team leaders, and everyone contributed to the win.
