CB West remains unbeaten after winning 4-0 versus Council Rock South on their grass. West capitalized on some free balls in the circle to take a lead of 3-0 at the half. Bryn Boylan scored the first two goals of the half. Cadera Smith scored the last goal of the half and assisted on the second Boylan goal off a corner. Smith and Boylan scored their other goals unassisted off great play in the circle when they each worked for individual space.

In the second half West scored to make it 4-0 a lead they carried through the rest of the game. That goal was scored by Eva Altadonna in a scrum in front of the goal. Courtney Westover is credited with the shutout. She made some great saves in both halves to keep South off the board.

Boylan and Emily Halderson were highlighted as key players for this game. Both having to work to shut down the league's leading scorer in McGovern, and working together to be very successful in doing so. The defense stepped up in a huge way, and kept South at 0 for the entire 60 minutes.

West takes on Pennridge tomorrow at 7pm,
