West scored halfway through the first half off a beautiful passing sequence between Bryn Boylan and Cadera Smith. Boylan had the assist after she drew the defense and passed off to Smith for the goal. The second goal came off an Emily Halderson assist to Bryn Boylan. The defense held strong and kept the shutout through the half. About three minutes in to the second half Boylan shot off a corner play and Ryan Murray was in the right place to put it in. At 1540 in the second half Boylan scored off a corner. The scoring continued after a srum in front of the circle led to another Cadera Smith goal. Taylor Mason nearly had her own goal as the game ended, mikayla darrows was there to finish it. This marked the first career varsity shut out for senior Courtney Westover. Halderson continues to shine on defense as they grow behind her leadership. Boylan continued her unselfish play with her two assists and two goals. Smith had two goals Murray one and Darrows one.
