HH 1 at NP 2


The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters battled til the final out, but dropped a 2-1 decision to the North Penn Knights in a game that gave the Knights the outright SOL Continental Championship. The loss dropped the Hatters third place in the SOL Continental at 10-4.

Senior Chris Crookham led the Hatters offense going 2-3 with a run scored. Eric Lane had an RBI triple. Justin Gregorio also had a triple.

Senior Ryan Murphy absorbed the loss on the mound for the Hatters despite a strong performance. Murphy went 5 innings allowing 2 runs, 1 earned on 8 hits while striking out 2 and walking 0. Sophomore Brian Edgington pitched a perfect 6th inning for the Hatters, striking out 1.

The Hatters will find out their playoff seeding after tomorrow night’s District 1 Seeding Meeting.
