Coming down to over time is tough but both teams had a great game tonight. The intensity was high the entire game and every second counted tonight. Nikki Boyd and Caroline McGovern came up huge on attack placing their shots. Caroline also did a wonderful job connecting her passes on attack to see Anna DiDonato, Becca Daly and Nikki Boyd for the goal. Sarah Womer had great intensity and came up with a crucial ground ball in the midfield and finished it with a goal. Caroline McGovern and Katie Bagdon really stepped up on the draw tonight from some important draw controls. Our defense stepped up when we really needed them,Mary Kate Simpson had great ground balls and our goalie, Kim Starke made great saves. It is never easy losing in overtime, but I am very proud of the girls.
