The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters dropped a 2-1 game to Central Bucks East on Thursday despite out hitting the Patriots seven to five.

The Hatters got excellent pitching from senior Ryan Murphy and sophomore Brian Edgington. Murphy allowed just two runs, both unearned, over 5 1/3 innings on 3 hits. Edgington pitched a scoreless 1 2/3 innings in relief.

Second baseman Justin Gregorio was 2-3 to lead the Hatters offense.

The Hatters will be back in action next week.
