In a SOL American Conference contest, rivals Wisshackon and PW played a highly competitive match with Wissahickon handing PW a Conference opening loss 197-204. PW's only roadblock to an undefeated record the past two seasons has been away match losses to Wissahickon and the home course advantage proved to be too much for PW to overcome once again. Senior Co-captain Zach Weiss' one under par 35 and freshman Jesse Hunsiker's 39 led a strong team showing for WIssahickon, while Alex Kissel's birdie-birdie-birdie finish to shoot 38 topped PW. The table is set for a Monday rematch at PW's home course, The Ace Club, which may well determine the 2009 American Conference champion.
