The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters rode the right arm of sophomore Colin Kennedy to a 4-1 win over the visiting CB West Bucks on Wednesday afternoon at Clifford C. Hendrickson Memorial Field. Kennedy went the distance for the Hatters striking out 5 and walking just 1 enroute to the Hatters first Complete Game Win since Casey O’Donnell in 2012. Last year, Kevin Barron pitched 7 innings on two different occasions, when the Hatters needed extra innings to win each of those games.

Four seniors did a majority of the damage for the Hatters offensively. Shortstop Chris Crookham was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a run scored. Right fielder Eric Lane was 1-4 with a 2-run homerun. Second baseman Justin Gregorio was 1-2 with an RBI double and a sac fly. Third baseman Kevin Barron was 1-2 with a run, and RBI and a stolen base.

For the visiting Bucks, Rob Phillips was 2-4 and Thomas Phillips was 2-3 with a double. Shortstop Steven Gebre had an RBI. Nick Evans took the loss for the Bucks.

The Hatters (5-3 Overall, 3-1 SOL Continental) will host Pennridge (3-1 SOL Continental) on Thursday at 3:45 pm.
