Wissahickon got off to a fast start, scoring first against Lower Merion, in this non-league, Checking for Cancer event. However, LM continued to fire shots on goalie Kyra Myers, during the first half, who did an excellent job making 5 saves overall. At half time, the score was WHS 2, LM 7. That didn't stop Wissahickon. The girls came back to score 6 goals to Lower Merion's 4 in the second half. Wissahickon played their game in the second half and showed they would not let down. Two goals were scored each by Lauren Irvine, Emily Vervlied and Carolyn Wilde. Marie Dickson and Shannon Stagliano each scored 1. Stagliano, Vervlied and Claire Tarzia all had 1 assist.
