Jeff Blizzard's 2014-2015 Plymouth Whitemarsh varsity boys' bowling squad had seen more success on the road than home during the season's first eight matches. The junior varsity squad at points had higher game totals than the varsity Colonials.

Dylan Barnett's 642 series and 257 game propelled the visiting Ghosts, 3-1, over PW.

PW drops to 17-19 overall and 16-16 in conference play. Abington had taken seven of Ieight games vs. the Colonials this season, including a 4-0 win on Dec. 8, 2014, in Willow Grove. Norristown is scheduled to face the Colonials on Jan. 14 at Facenda Whitaker.

In the first game, a 978-877 Abington win, leadoff bowler Matt Dando opened his first frames before recording strikes on the next seven for a 247. Jack Hunt rolled 220 with five consecutive strikes at one point. PW freshman Jake Newell led the Colonials with 210.

Game two, 985-868 in favor of Abington, involved two more 200-plus games from Ghosts: Nick Turco (206) and anchor Dylan Barnett (257). Dom Procaccino tallied 204 as his PW teammates couldn't reach above 170.
