Wissahickon v. CB West
Wissahickon won with a final score of 101-79

On Monday the girls swim team traveled back to the CB South pool for a dual meet against CB West. Even without any divers, Wissahickon won the meet handily. Natalie Hoffman and Julia DeCecco took first and second in the 200 free. In the 100 butterfly, Grace Ronca took first place and Kelsey Bauer achieved a personal best time. Kelly Wild and Natalie Hoffman took first and second in the 100 free, and Natalie finished with a best time. There were many accomplishments in the 500 freestyle: freshman Claire Alfano achieved a personal best, and seniors Grace R and Julia D took first and second place. Grace got her best time untapered and Julia got a personal record and reached her season goal of swimming the 500 in under 6 minutes. Sisters Caroline Alberti and Ellie Alberti swam together in the 100 breast, and Ellie finished first for Wissahickon in 2nd place while Caroline got her best time of the season. Other memorable finishes were Kelly Wild, 1st place in the 200 IM and Amanda Zlotnikoff, 1st place in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke. It was a good feeling for all teammates after a loss last week, knowing we worked hard for the win this week.
