The scores were 25-19, 25-14 & 25-17
Niki Carpenter with 7 blocks and Carolyn Helenski with 4 so totally dominated the net that Downingtown East had trouble scoring points off their hitting. Niki added 5 kills and Carolyn a career high 8 kills. The outside hitters, Emily Shannon and Emma Andraka, did their job with 8 & 7 kills respectively. The serving was magnificent. Emily Shannon had 3 aces among her 12 service points while Carlye Odorisio had 4 aces in a 10 point run in the 2nd set. Micaela Ghanayem had 10 service points. As always, Ashley Shannon anchored the defense with 20 digs followed by Emily with 16 and Emma with 15. Kailyn McNamee dished out 19 assists.
