On a night of must wins for the North Penn Maidens the pressure was on bowling the defending champs of the conference from last year and division leading once again this year. Going in to tonight's match the Maidens trailed the Golden bears by three games in the standings. Before the match coach Saddle told the girls if you want challenge and have a chance at first place you as a team have to bowl and stay focused and make the majority of your spares and see what happens. As the night went along you could see the determination of all of them which included a a personal high for two of the girls. Lauren Marrone led the team with her increasingly improvement with a team high series of (554) including a second game of 211. Also Kelci Beatty stepped up with her career high series and high league game with a 193 for a 525 series. Gabby Verrillo( 191-510) series and Rebecca Murray bowled(193-540) series bowled well . Kristina Turner's pressure spare in the tenth frame of the the third game sealed the deal for the victory in able ling the Maidens to sweep all four games moving them into first place by one game with three matches left.
Though the golden bears went down in defeat it was not to be over shadowed by a great night from Tracey Tardie bowling games of 209=209-197 for aa 615 series. Other high games were Kim Searles 183,Julia Brownholtz 141,Kayla Balcerak 184 and Britny kabic 185- 50 series.
