The boys Match had some intense and nerve racking moments on their own. In the first game it was virtually a head to head match until the ninth and tenth frames was when the Knights of North Penn pulled away with a 73 pin win despite a great game from Norristown's anchor man Brandon Bonamico 264 game. The second game was all North Penn's winning by 141 pins with Tyler Sharpe leading the way with a fine 258 game along with Steven Gerhart's 225. In the third game Norristown had their on incentive and were leading most of the game by the littlest of margin until the tenth and final frame of the night. Aaryn Hoy and Dan McCreary both put pressure on the Knights with a double and triple gaining a few more pins but North Penn's lead off bowler of the night was Ryan Marrone striking out in the tenth and Jimmy Ullman doubled for a (213).Tyler Sharpe also doubled to finish out with a nice series 212-258-202=672 . The match came down to both anchor men from each team both working on a strike to see how the final game would end with only a couple of pins apart. Brandon Bonamico left a single pin this leaving it all up to a pressure and game winning shot in which Steven Gerhart threw a double and with that winning the game by a mere 8 pins.Dan McCleary shot a very good 225 game in the third game for Norristown and North Penn's Steven Gerhart was high with 242-225-219=686 series. The Knights have a slim lead over Pennridge by three games withThe Rams wining all four of their games as well.
