For PW - Rachel Konowal was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, Corrine Watson was 2 for with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI, Susan JanFrancisco was 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a double, a triple and 3 RBIs. A. Spinelli pitched the win (7 inns, 11 hits, 7 BBs, 5 Ks)

For UD - Rachel Hyman was 1 for 3 with a solo HR in the 3rd; Sarah Rosenbaum was 2 for 4 with 1 run scored and an RBI, and Rachel Matricardi was 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a double, and 1 RBI. Kristin Ganderton took the loss (7 inns, 12 hits, 5 BBs, 3 HPs, 1 K)

UD finished at 7-7 in the SOL, and 8-11 overall.

Plymouth Whitemarsh Comments

PW bested Upper Dublin in their season finale today by a score of 13 - 7. Alison Spinelli earned the win on the mound for the Colonials today pitching 7 strong innings. Spinelli gave up 6 hits on the day and threw 6 strikeouts; of the seven runs the Cardinals put up, only 1 was earned.

As a team, PW had 13 hits on the day. Offensive standouts for the Colonials were Corinne Watson who had 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs; Susan Janfrancisco had a single, double and a triple today with 3 RBIs. Michele Taunton and Crissy Terraces also added 2 RBIs a piece.
