Souderton made the most of a non-league game vs Perk Valley. Every starter in the Souderton lineup had a hit. Erelle Sowers went 3 for 4 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Sarah Derstine went 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Angie Carty, Morgan Yoder, and Paige Shelly all had multiple hit games as well. Carty was the RBI leader getting 4 RBIs on the day. The game got interesting in the 7th inning after Perk Valley came all the way back from 5 down to tie it. Souderton pushed ahead and got the job done in the 9th inning. Megan Roynan pitched the first 7 innings allowing 10 hits. Salina Allebach came in for the last two innings of the game to earn the win. Souderton plays a tough league foe tomorrow at CB South.
