Pennridge Comments
The Rams were shut out for the first time this season. On offense Morgan Labs was 3 for 3 with 2 single and a double. Alison Horne also had a hit and had a great game in right field. In the 2nd inning, with runners at 1st and 2nd, Haley Delaney hit a high fly ball to right field. Horne caught it and then threw a bullet to Haley Taylor at third to double up Dayna Shelly who had tug and tried to advance to 3rd. Paige DeCew took a hard luck loss. DeCew threw a 3 hitter and gave up two unearned runs. She struck out 4, with one walk and until the 6th inning she had only given up a single hit.

Salina Allebach pitched a gem as she held the Rams to 6 hits and 1 walk as she threw a 7 inning shut out. The Big Red got their 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th when Erelle Sowers reached on a bunt single. Then Angie Carty reached when she was hit by a pitch with two outs. The go ahead run then scored on an infield error and then a bloop infield single scored Carty to put the Big Red up 2-0. Then Carty put on her glove and made two diving catches in left field to thwart comebacks by the Rams. Allebach then recorded her only K of the game to end it.
