Souderton 10 @ HH 5 (9 innings)

The Hatters lost a back and forth battle to Souderton 10-5 in 9 innings on Thursday afternoon. The Hatters jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first. In the first, Zach Prendergast led off with a single, followed by a walk to Brad Humski. Grant Opalisky followed with an RBI single that scored Prendergast. Kevin Barron had a two out single later in the inning that scored Humski and Opalisky to put the Hatters up 3-0.

Souderton scored single runs in the 2nd and 4th innings to make it 3-2. Then, the Indians scored 3 runs in the 5th inning to take a 5-3 lead. The Hatters tied the game in the bottom of the 6th with RBI's from Kevin Barron and Chris Naiberk.

The Hatters loaded the bases in the 7th inning with 2 outs, but were unable to plate the go ahead run. In the top of the 9th inning, the Hatters got the first two batters out, before the Indians exploded for 5 two out runs, on 2 errors and 4 hits.
