Comments:
West had a slow start and the half was only 5-3, both goalies doing a good job to keep the score low and Pennridge dominated draw controls, but once West picked up some more draw controls and controlled their passing, they pulled away. The whole team did a great job implementing what we worked on in practice. Kyra Bergere stepped it up in the first half and really gave our defense confidence. In the second half, Jacq Fitzgerald, Sarah Gebre and Elena Romesburg really picked up their groundballs and draw controls to help West take a commanding lead.
