HH 5 vs CBS 6

CB South scored 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning and held off the Hatters in the bottom half to earn a 6-5 win and a spot in the District 1 Championship on Thursday at 4 pm vs CR South at Immaculata. Sophomore Radwanski and senior Brian Happ homered to account for the 3 runs in the 9th for CB South.

CB South lead 3-1 going into the bottom of the 7th and the Hatters tied it on a Chris Hens two-run homerun. CB South took advantage of 7 HH errors. Casey O'Donnell was the tough luck losing pitcher for HH allowing just 1 earned run in 8+ innings pitched.

Paul Zakrewski got the win for the Titans throwing 160 pitches over 8.1 innings pitched. He allowed 7 hits, 7 walks, 4 earned runs and struck out 9. Ricky Dennis earned the save recording the last two outs. Will Sasser saved the game with a diving catch of a line drive off the bat of Zach Prendergast to end the game with Hens on 2nd.

Conner Crookham was 2-3 and Tyler Zingle 2-5 for HH.
