The Hatters took down undefeated and SOL rival CB East 6-2 on Monday night to secure their 7th straight win. The Hatters defense led the way, holding CB East scoreless in the first three quarters before allowing two goals late in the fourth quarter. Jimmy Murphy and Jimmy Durkin led the Hatters offensively with 2 goals each. Trevor Downing and Connor Kreston also added 1 goal apiece, as Jake Durkin, Trevor Downing, and Tyler Gehlhaus each contributed an assist. Dom Defazio, Tyler Gehlhaus, Jake Cresta, Ryan Higgins, Ryan New, and Sean Black anchored another dominating performance by the Hatters defense. Mark Poust had 10 saves to pick up another win in goal for H-H. Defazio led the Hatters with 9 ground balls. Steve Palo did a great job in the face-off battle with one of the areas best from CB East. The Hatters are back in action Friday night as they go on the road to face the Souderton Indians.
