Girls lose 11-7 to a much improved Pennridge Team

The Lady Trojans and Rams of Pennridge battled the 1st half of the game. Pennridge took a 5-1 lead that seemed to be too much for Wiss to overcome, but the girls put three on the board before the end of the half cutting Pennridge's lead to 2. Pennridge held the offense to no goals to their 3 in the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter the girls came out strong putting 3 of 8 shots in the net, but Pennridge answered two and took the win 11-7. Defensively the girls are strong, producing turnovers and steals, but they just are not able to capitalize on the opportunities. Tonight the girls forced 17 steals that produced 13 shots, but only 4 hit the back of goal. This is a repeated pattern that if the team could correct would product much different end results.
