Bensalem and Council Rock North battled to 0-0 tie through sixty minutes of play and 10 more minutes of 7 V 7 overtime. Both goalies and defenses were outstanding. Council Rock North held the lead in corners in regulation by 8 to 5, but Bensalem dominated the overtime period with 5 corners, but were unable to capitalize on any of them. They were not without their chances. Several Owls had opportunities throughout the game and in overtime but they just couldn't convert. North's goalkeeper, Kasey Papp, turned 16 shots aside. Bensalem's goalie, Hailey Fricke made several key saves, 9 in total. The Outstanding Owl Awards went to Paige Dando, who dominated in the middle all game and overtime, coming off the field only for a minute in overtime. The other Outstanding Owl was Hailey Fricke who came up big on numerous occasions today, as she almost always does. It was Fricke's first shutout of the year.
