Zola Morelli – senior, forward/midfield

Strengths/Question Marks/Outlook:  “We graduated two major contributors from last year’s team in our standout goalkeeper and our top offensive threat, which creates new opportunities and responsibilities for our returning players. One of our biggest goals this season is to see players like Claire Demmer (BC commit), Heidi Schoenleber (Drexel commit), Lucy Smith (commitment TBD) step into leadership roles and help establish the identity and character of this year’s team.
“We have a versatile roster with players capable of contributing in multiple positions. That gives us a lot of flexibility and options, but it also creates an exciting challenge as we work to find the right combinations and formations to put our players in the best position to succeed.

Our goal is to be a team that improves every time we step on the field. We want to learn from every game, embrace challenges, and continue to develop throughout the season. We are not trying to recreate last year’s team; instead, we want to become the best version of this team. If we can continue to grow, compete, and build our identity together, we will put ourselves in a great position.”
