On Monday, May 18, 2026, Central Bucks South senior Kayode Adebayo was recognized for committing to continue his basketball career at Misericordia University.

Reasons for choosing Misericordia: “They showed me the most love. They came to every basketball game, texted me every day. They came to every game from spring of my AAU season
through my whole high school season.”
What was the progression that led you to competing basketball at the collegiate level? “Playing basketball in college became real last year when I got on the varsity team, and I was helping the varsity team. When we had the good season my junior year, I was doing pretty good.”
Central Bucks South coach Louie Ditri: “Kayode is a very coachable player who is willing to listen and learn. He put the time in to make himself a better player, and he came a long way since his freshman year. He’s a good-hearted person both on and off the court. He knows when to have fun and when to keept it light, and he knows when it’s go time and time to be serious and focused. He was a big part of last year’s team success.”
