High School Cheerleading Assistant Coaching Position Available
The Athletic Department at Abington Senior High School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Cheerleading Coach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our cheerleading program that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, school spirit, leadership, and student-athlete development. Candidates should be willing to help demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills and have the ability to foster a positive, inclusive environment for all participants.
Qualifications:
- Previous cheerleading coaching and/or competitive cheer experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cheerleading techniques, safety standards, and current rules.
- Ability to help organize practices, coordinate game-day and competition responsibilities, and communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school personnel.
- Must meet all district, state, and coaching certification requirements prior to employment.
