On Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, Central Bucks South seniors Kelly Donnelly, Riley Karpinski, Alana Peev & Tesa Hughes were recognized for committing to play soccer at the collegiate level.

Kelly Donnelly – Wagner College (Soccer)
Major: Undecided
Final list of colleges: Wagner, Shippensburg, Youngstown State, Lafayette
Reasons for choosing Wagner: “When I visited the school, the players were very welcoming, and I really liked the coach.
It was also close to home, and I really didn’t want to go far away.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level?
“I started playing soccer when I was four or five years old, and I grew a passion for it. I kind of always knew I wanted to play in college, especially after all the hard work I put in through the years.”
Central Bucks South coach Dana Cole: “Kelly Donnelly was our most versatile player. No matter where we threw her, she adjusted and made it work. She scored from midfield and/or defense, won 50/50 balls and distributed the ball well from wherever she was on the field. She was a pleasure to have on the team.”

Tessa Hughes – Thomas Jefferson University (Soccer)

Reasons for choosing Jefferson: “It was a good
balance athletically and academically, and it’s close to home. The coaching staff is great, and the team is amazing.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “I’ve been playing soccer since I was really little, and I come from a soccer family. My parents played, so I always knew I wanted to play in college.”
Central Bucks South coach Dana Cole: “We gave Tessa the ‘Heart & Soul’ award. Tessa was probably our most technical player. She led the team in assists and had a lot to do with most of our game-winning goals. Her corner kicks were perfectly placed, and she was a very humble warrior. Her college coach is lucky to have her on the team.”

Favorite TV show: Stranger Things
Favorite music: Country
Riley Karpinski – Virginia Tech (Soccer)
Major: Health & Exercise Sciences
Final list of colleges: Virginia Tech, Iowa State
Reasons for choosing Virginia Tech: “When I went on my visit, I had butterflies, and I knew it was the place I wanted to
be. I loved the coaching staff and the team bond that I saw when I went there.”
Central Bucks South coach Dana Cole: “Riley Karpinski received our ‘Golden Boot’ award. When I first started at CB South, I was told ‘she just scores goals,’ and that she did with 27 being put in the back of the net this season along with eight assists. Riley was a magnet for Peyton’s (her sister's) long ball, and when they connected on the field, things happened. Riley has an ability to create offense so effortlessly, and she makes it look so easy. She will no doubt be successful at Virginia Tech with her work ethic and quickness.”

Alana Peev – St. Joseph’s University (Soccer)

Especially since my dad and sister went to St. Joe’s to play soccer, so it’s kind of in my blood.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “Soccer has always been a part of my family, and I’m not done competing, so I wanted to go to that next level that’s more competitive.
Central Bucks South coach Dana Cole: “Alana Peev was our ‘Complete Player.’ She has the ability to singlehandedly control the game with her presence. She can dominate all parts of the field offensively and defensively. She is a leader by example and with her voice. She advocates for herself and for her teammates and has a passion you can’t deny. No doubt she will do well at St. Joe's.”
