National Conference
Central Bucks West 21, Council Rock North 4
There was much to celebrate in Central Bucks West’s 21-4 victory over Council Rock North on Thursday.
First and foremost, the win secured an undefeated 10-0 National Conference record (14-4 overall) and secured the Bucks the National Conference championship for the first time since 2019, when they were part of a three-way tie atop the standings. This time, the title belongs to the Bucks alone.
The regular season finale also served as the Bucks’ Senior night, celebrating the efforts of seniors Katie Casale, Chloe Schrandt, Raylin Tulio, Kendra Pitts, and Delfi Meoniz Alberti.
Finally, the Bucks celebrated Olivia Barrett’s 100th career goal. The junior finished with a pair of goals and a dozen draw controls for the Bucks, who stand seventh in the latest District 1 3A rankings.

“Katie had an assist, groundball, and caused turnover. She’s heading to Pitt next year and has been an impact crease attacker since her freshman year.
“Chloe Schrandt had a phenomenal day on attack, scoring 4 goals and adding a ground ball. She’s heading to Palm Beach Atlantic to play D2 lacrosse next year and has also been a four-year letterwinner.
“Raylin Tulio added a goal and caused turnover. She’s been another four-year letterwinner who is one of the grittiest players on the field with an excellent work ethic. She’s heading to Drexel to study engineering next year.
“Goalie Kendra Pitts added 6 saves and is a standout field hockey player who has also made a huge contribution in cage in our lacrosse program. She’s heading to Vassar to play field hockey next year.
“Delfi Alberti joined the program this year as an exchange student from Argentina. She’s never played lacrosse before and we are so happy she joined the team and that we get to be a part of her experience here.”

Central Bucks East 15, Pennsbury 5
Senior Paige Dougherty led all scorers with five goals and reached another milestone with her 200th career goal as Central Bucks East defeated Pennsbury 15-5 in Thursday’s National Conference game.
“Paige is such a talented athlete, hard worker, great leader, and teammate, so it’s exciting to see her hit these milestones,” said East coach Kelly Tait. “Reaching 200 career goals is an incredible achievement, and I’m
thrilled she was able to accomplish it this season.”
Junior Cece Hayes was all over the field today, finishing with five points (3 goals, 2 assists), while also causing four turnovers, picking up nine ground balls, and securing seven draw controls. McKenna Lynch, Amanda Ries, and Natalie Berndt each added two goals, while Megan Fahey scored one.
Defensively, East worked well together and held Pennsbury without a shot for the entire first quarter. They communicated well, slid effectively, and doubled drivers to force multiple turnovers before the ball ever reached the 8-meter area. Seniors Avery Stephenson and Bella DeHaven each had three caused turnovers, while sophomore Ella Menard collected five ground balls and did an excellent job transitioning the ball up to the attack.
East is ranked 22nd in the latest District 1 3A standings.

Despite the score, we never felt comfortable with the lead until the final minutes of the game. I’m incredibly proud of every player on this team for their hard work, teamwork, communication, and ability to focus on what they can control. They continue to support one another as great teammates, and it’s been rewarding to watch them work together and find success as a group.”

Sophomore Maddie Gorman scored her 89th career goal as part of a four-goal effort and reached the 100-point milestone for her career as North Penn, which closed out the regular season with a 10-6 victory over Bensalem in Thursday’s National Conference game.
Quinn Rodoff added three goals for the Knights, who finished the season winning three of their final four games.

Council Rock South 11, Central Bucks South 2
Camryn Brundage and Mia Schink each scored four goals as Council Rock South picked up a decisive 11-2 victory over National Conference opponent Central Bucks South to close out the 2026 season.
Ella Mayberry scored one goal and added a pair of assists.

—Props: “Camryn Brundage has been consistent all season and today was no different. She showed up big all over the field and had some great drives on attack today.
“Mia Schink was also unstoppable around the crease today with all four goals from driving low.
“Our defense played very well today and were able to stop South’s offensive drives and cut off their cutters well. Particularly, Sophia Smith was a force on defense. She not only caused turnovers in settled defense but also caused multiple turnovers in the midfield.”

Pennridge 19, Souderton 10

Pennridge took home their final SOL win, securing silver in the conference and ready to switch gears to District 1 Playoffs.
Cowper, Gall, and Moylan shone as the Rams rolled through Souderton 19-10 in what appeared to be a close game at first. Pennridge put up five in the first quarter, but Souderton was there to answer almost every time. Gall and Moylan both put up their first two goals of the game. Moylan also had an assist and Madigan had a goal and an assist.
The second quarter, the Rams were still finding their footing at times. Kayla Verespy found a cutting Madigan Posey for her second on the night. Leuthe put up her first and only off a drive. Paige Cowper shined in the second with two flashy fast-break goals after capitalizing on caused turnovers in the ride.
“I was really excited to see Paige on fire out there,” said Pennridge coach Maddie Dachowski. “She was taking her time, thinking through her shots and offensive opportunities and it really showed tonight. Paige is very fast and she did a great job in the ride tonight she had 3 caused turnovers and 6 ground balls. Her effort out there tonight had the whole team hype on the sideline.”
The third quarter is where the Rams really began to pull away, with five different goal scorers in the third. Meg Moylan was first off a strong individual effort drive. Freshman Leah Boytin saw solid time tonight and scored off a drive up the middle after a quick ground ball pickup.
“Leah has been a great spark this season, she doesn’t play scared and she blends well with our upperclassmen,” Dachowski said. “I’m excited to watch her grow more and more on this team.”
Emma Gall was next to score off an 8m. The Rams went on a huge run in the final four minutes of the quarter, putting up five before it ended. Paige Cowper went back to back first with a crease roll and next with a feed from Gianna Leuthe. Kayla Verespy found a cutting Meg Moylan for her fourth and final on the night. Gianna Leuthe hit Emma Gall for her fourth, Leuthe kept her hand in the action as a playmaker, finishing the quarter hitting Kayla Verespy just before time ran out.
The fourth quarter was about game management and getting the bench some action. Posey capped the night with her third, completing her 12th hat trick of the season. Emma Gall put up her fifth and final on the night with a drive through the 8m.
“This was a career high offensive night for Emma,” Dachowski said. “She has been great on both ends all season, all over the stat sheets, contributing every way she can. Whether it’s a cut, drive, or 8m, Emma has a nose for the cage. I’m really excited for her momentum to carry through our playoff run.”
Defensively, senior Norah Herbst stood out and had a season high on both ground balls and caused turnovers (4 each).
“I always expect so much from Norah because she is so talented,” Dachowski said. “I was happy to see her taking those calculated risks tonight.”
Julia Lenox and Jenna Verespy also collected 3 ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. Lily Roller played well against tough crease matchups and executed the game plan well. Freshman Nina Rotella stood tall in cage for the first three quarters and put up seven saves.
Madigan Posey and Gianna Leuthe were all over the field as always, both putting up 4 points each. Posey scored a hat trick and an assist, while Leuthe, usually a goal scorer, had 3 assists and a goal to her name.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 14, New Hope-Solebury 2
This one was a long time coming.
So Plymouth Whitemarsh made sure to square it away early.
The Colonials scored six unanswered goals in the first quarter and rolled to a 14-2 victory over New Hope-Solebury in Thursday’s American Conference finale. The win secured the Colonials’ undefeated 11-0 league record (17-1 overall) and clinched outright its first league championship in nearly a decade.
“The last time Plymouth Whitemarsh won the league was 2018,” said PW coach Ellen Reilly. “I feel lucky to coach this group of young ladies. This success has been building over the past four years. The team is led by four really amazing, hard-working seniors, our captains Maite and Kaiane Jayo, goalie Addi Stein, and Keira Whelan. All four of these girls are great students, too.
“Mai and Kai lead our team with their hard work ethic. They not only push each other, but they set the standard for our team. Whether it is at practice or during the game. They work their butts off. A lot of my younger players are now doing the same thing because they see these two being successful.
“We have 22 varsity players, 18 of which are returning players from last year. So they know each other and have experience with each other. They are unselfish and enjoy each other.”
Eleven different players contributed to the scoring, with Rachel Craft posting six points (2 goals, 4 assists) to lead the Colonials, who entered the final week of the regular season ranked fourth in the District 1 3A standings. Grace Harvey had three goals and two assists.
"I am so proud of this team for winning the league," PW senior captain Kaiane Maite said. "Every single person has worked so hard and I’m just so glad to see how it’s paid off. We all truly get along so well and the positive team vibes have been a great contributor to our success this season. And I’ve been so lucky and happy to play with my sister for all four years. Getting this league title means so much to the both of us, and I’m glad to get to celebrate with her before we go separate ways in college."
Ceci Capriotti scored both NH-S goals. The Lions are ranked 13th in the latest District 1 2A standings.

Maeve Hogan went out with a bang … or nine.
The Marquette University-bound senior scored six goals and added three assists as Upper Dublin routed neighborhood rival Wissahickon 16-4 in Thursday’s American Conference finale for both squads.
The Cardinals, ranked 11th in the latest District 1 3A standings, scored seven unanswered goals in the first quarter to put the game out of reach early.
Bridget DiMartile scored four goals and added two assists, while Abby Rucker scored two and assisted on four others. Shannon Connaughton had seven draw controls for the Cardinals.
Wissahickon got one goal each from Sophia Stehlik – who added one assist – Paige Dratch, Samantha Farno, and Kaylee Hammond.

Casey Rosenberger ended her high school lacrosse career the only way she knows how – by lighting up the opposing defense.
The Holy Family University-bound senior capped off her career with six goals and one assist to lead Quakertown to a 22-10 victory over Lower Moreland in Thursday’s American Conference game.
Ellie Stanziola matched Rosenberger with seven points on five goals and two assists, while Darcy Baxter had five goals and one assist.

Katie Pennekamp closed out her final regular season game by making more history.
The University of Delaware-bound senior recorded the 300th point of her remarkable high school career, finishing with three goals and two assists as well as 10 draw controls and four ground ball pickups to power the Ghosts to a regular season-ending 17-2 victory over American Conference opponent William Tennent on Thursday.
The Ghosts scored eight unanswered goals in the first quarter and led 15-0 after three quarters.
Chelsey Higgens recorded a hat trick and added one assist for the Ghosts.

In a tightly played battle, Springfield Twp pulled out a 9-7 victory over Cheltenham in Thursday’s American Conference finale.
Julia Guicheteau (2 goals, 1 assist) and Frankie Rizzo (1 goal, 2 assists) led the Spartans with three points each. Casen Powell added a pair of goals for the Spartans, who are ranked third in the latest District 1 2A standings.
For Cheltenham, Brianna Gardner closed out her high school lacrosse career with one more accolade, reaching the 200-goal milestone in her four-goal, one-assist effort. Megan Robinson made 11 big saves for the Panthers, who went into halftime tied at 4-4.

Springfield Twp coach Katrina Metz Borzelleca: “This was a total team effort today. We made some mistakes but worked through them and continued to build and play better as the game went on. The offense got into a good rhythm and were able to find each other, see lanes, and create opportunities. Cheltenham’s goalie (Megan Robinson) made some great saves to slow our momentum, but we continued to work hard and win the ball back. We’re looking forward to what is next for us in the playoffs.”

Cheltenham coach Emily Towey: “Springfield gave us a really competitive game, and it was fun to be able to compete at that level with a neighboring school where so many of the girls are friends with each other. Although the scoreboard didn't end in our favor, we were 4-4 at half and only lost by 2 goals to a team that beat us 18-3 last year. Our girls have improved so much, they played well together and fought as a unit until the last whistle. I have never been more proud of them and more proud to be their coach.”
—Props: “There was so much to celebrate and highlight today. Our defensive unit of Penny Morrison, Vlada Larina, Giana Meija, and London Montague held it down for us while Meg Robsinson came in huge with 11 saves. Marelle Johnston had her best game of lacrosse on the circle and also had a crazy drive dodging through a triple-team. Morgan Gregorio, Brianna Gardner, and Mia Haugen played well offensively, especially behind GLE. And on top of that, Brianna Gardner was able to hit one more milestone (200 points) in her final time putting on a Cheltenham jersey.”
