Hatboro-Horsham 7, Council Rock South 5
The visiting Hatters used a strong second-half performance to earn the important win over a Council Rock South team that was sixth in the District 1 3A rankings.
The two teams went into halftime deadlocked 2-2, and the Hatters came out of halftime and outscored the Hatters 4-0 in the third quarter and 5-3 in the second half on their way to the win.
Anderson Kirby had a big night in goal for the Hatters, turning away 13 shots.

The Central Bucks West Bucks (7-5) traveled to Ambler to take on the Wissahickon Trojans (11-3) in a high-stakes matchup.
--First Quarter: Buicks drew first blood.
The scoring opened in the first quarter when Bucks’ sophomore Owen Becker found junior Mike Rafalowski. Rafalowski, a prolific 20-goal scorer, returned the favor by finding an open Becker at the point, who blasted a shot past Trojan goalie Liam Ruhren.
The Trojans answered immediately. with Gavin Hinchcliffe initiated an alley dodge and fired a low pass to attackman Chase Comer. Comer made a spectacular catch on his knees and, while still down, fed a wide-open Davide Peliggi cutting to the crease. Peliggi buried it to tie the game.
The Bucks responded quickly as senior Brad Mulreaney used a pick from Becker at X to gain space. Mulreaney dodged through the defense and finished from the top of the crease.
--Second & Third Quarters: Trojan Dominance
The middle frames belonged entirely to the Trojans, who went on a commanding seven-goal unanswered run. The surge began when sophomore Kyle Intal utilized a pick by senior Paulie Brogan, raced down the hash marks and ripped a shot for a goal.
Moments later, Hinchcliffe was back at it, executing another alley dodge and passing to Comer. Comer battled through three Bucks defenders to find the back of the net. The Trojan "ride" then paid dividends; Kyle Moore and Intal smothered the clearing attempt, allowing Intal to scoop a ground ball and take it coast-to-coast for a fast-break goal.
The scoring continued as Austin Myers dodged past two long poles and a short-stick midfielder to beat the Bucks' goalie, Ben Hutchinson, on the doorstep. To close out the first half, Nolan Reilly won a faceoff clean, faked a pass to the attack, and took it himself down the alley for a goal.
The second and third quarters were defined by the dominance of the Trojan defense and disciplined time of possession by the offense.
--Second Half: Closing it Out
In the third quarter, Intal completed his hat trick by dodging through the box for his third goal of the day. It was a standout performance for the second-line midfielders; Reilly dodged down the alley and found his mirrored midfielder, Hinchcliffe, who finished the play to put the Trojans up 8–2.
The Bucks attempted a late rally. Rafalowski executed an alley dodge of his own and blasted a goal from the left side. However, the Trojans kept their foot on the gas as Davide Peliggi added his second of the game, finishing a feed from Reilly on the doorstep.
CB West refused to quit late in the fourth. Rafalowski drew a double team at the top of the box and slipped a slick pass to Collin Albrecht for a step-down goal. With only one minute remaining, Albrecht added a highlight-reel finish with a beautiful behind-the-back shot, bringing the final score to 9–5 in favor of the Trojans.

The Indians – after a long road trip – got off to a slow start and found themselves on the short end of a 4-2 score after one quarter. They rallied to knot the score 5-5 at halftime and outscored their hosts 9-2 in the second half.
Souderton limited Crestwood to one goal in each of the last three quarters.
Owen Kleppinger and Brody Anderson led the Indians’ attack with five-point games, and Ty Sauerwald added a hat trick and one assist.
Logan Blair’s seven ground balls led the Indians.

The Rams, who led 3-1 after one quarter, took a 6-2 lead into halftime and added to that in the second half on their way to the non-league win.
Rocco and Matteo Fanelli each had six-point games to lead the Rams’ attack. Justin Gramlich recorded 10 saves in goal while anchoring the defense.

Defense was the story of this one.
UM goalie Molly McCann anchored a standout defensive effort with 12 saves, including the 100th of her career.
The Golden Bears took a 4-2 lead into halftime, but the Ghosts rallied in the third quarter, knotting the score 5-5 heading into the final frame. UM kept the Ghosts off the scoreboard in the fourth, and Leah King scored the game-winner midway through the final quarter.

We had a great practice focusing on things we needed to do today, and the team executed things perfectly today.”
--Props: “Molly McCann tallied in her 100th save this season and had an amazing game today. She was just fantastic in the goal.
“Our defense made up of Kendall Hurley, Keiley Hawk, Bridget Hess, and Maddy Frantz were talking better than ever and forced some really key turnovers - they played together as a unit along with our midfielders Madeline Cox, Eva Gorrell, and Leah King.
“Eva Gorrell and Leah King opened up the scoring in the first quarter. Keira Hess got two in the back of the net in the second quarter, and then Eva Gorrell scored again in the third quarter. Leah King put the final goal in with 8:15 left in the final quarter. We weren’t able to win a lot of draws today. Katie Pennekamp did a great job with the draw for Abington. We are excited to be back in action tomorrow for a game against Lower Moreland. We are doing a Down Syndrome Awareness game to raise money for Montgomery County Down Syndrome Interest Group.”

Council Rock North 13, North Penn 9
Rock North took an early 4-0 lead, but the Knights came roaring back to knot the score 5-5. A late goal sent the Indians into halftime with a 6-5 lead. They upped that advantage to 10-6 after three quarters on their way to the win.
Catherine McBride was a difference maker for the Indians, connecting for a game-high seven goals while also coming up with seven draw controls.

A hard fought game that was decided on the draw circle with Catherine McBride with seven draw controls and seven goals, Olivia Esposito four goals and three draw controls, and the outstanding freshman Clara Altier with three draw controls and an amazing goal at the buzzer of the first half. Gabby Mann had a goal and three assists, Addison Deppi had a beautiful goal from one of those assists. Stella Allain scored a goal and was great help on the clears. Goalie Mia Luna and the entire defense played a very strong game.
North Penn coach Ken Rodoff:
“After falling behind 4-0, we took a timeout and responded by scoring five of the next six goals. A goal as time expired at halftime gave CR North a 6-5 advantage going into the third quarter. CRN controlled draw controls for the majority of the third and extended the lead to 10-6 going into the fourth.
“I am extremely proud of our team for continuing to play with passion, pride and grit until the final whistle. Even though we didn’t win the game, we played a spirited fourth quarter in all phases and found the back of the net four more times.”

Today, the Hatboro-Horsham lacrosse team took the field with a purpose that extended far beyond the scoreboard. In a powerful display of community and compassion, the team honored mental health awareness and remembered those lost to suicide, including Morgan Rodgers (Duke lacrosse)
and classmate Billy Teefy.
Before the game, three student speakers - Mia, Amy, and Ava - delivered moving remarks about the importance of mental health and the impact of loss on their school community. Mia, a senior lacrosse ambassador for Morgan's Message, spoke about Morgan Rodgers, a Duke women's lacrosse player who lost her battle with mental health in 2019.
Amy shared a deeply personal story about her final conversation with Billy, a classmate and friend. She reflected on how a seemingly ordinary moment at the pizza shop became a treasured memory, a reminder that small interactions can hold profound meaning. Her tribute highlighted how the entire school community came together to support one another during an unimaginable time.
Ava's remarks brought the message home: "A simple conversation, a small moment, can mean more than you realize."
From the HH coaching staff: “Today reminded us why we coach. It's not about wins and losses - it's about developing resilient, compassionate human beings who look out for one another. If today's game inspires even one player or one student in our community to check in on a friend or seek help themselves, then we've won something far more important than any game.”

--More than a game: “Today Hatboro Horsham hosted us for their Morgan’s Message game. Before the start of the game three of the H-H players gave very poignant speeches as a part of the ceremony. They did a beautiful job and there wasn’t a dry eye on the field.
--Milestone moments: “As for the game itself, we had two of our seniors reach important milestones today. McKenna Lynch scored her 100th goal, and goalie Lora Collins had her 100th save. We entered the game with McKenna needing four goals and she answered with five. We are super proud of her. She has worked really hard and has always had such a positive attitude. We are thrilled she was able to reach this milestone today.
“Goalie Lora Collins’ 100th save is also a great accomplishment as this is Lora’s first year ever playing goalie and first year ever playing lacrosse. The fact that she has been able to jump into goal and be so successful so quickly is amazing, she has been a great addition to the team and we are super proud of her as well.”
--A glimpse of the future: “Aside from those milestones by two of our seniors, we were also able to look to the future and get freshmen Keira Check, Quinn Marsland, Fiona St. George and Leah Tellner some quality time and experience. Sophomores Ella Menard and Madison Beck who are normally defenders got to play midfield, and they both did great showing great speed and grit on the draw.”

The visiting Cardinals kept a strong Manheim Twp team off the scoreboard in the first quarter, but the Blue Streaks rebounded to score seven in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 7-3 lead on their way to the non-league win.
Bridget DiMartile’s four goals led the Cardinals while Maeve Hogan added a hat trick.

“We started off strong against a very good Manheim Township team, keeping them off the scoreboard in the first quarter. We had a let down in the 2nd period to allow them to take control of the game.
“Ella McGuckin came in to take the draw and did a great job of giving us a chance to get possession by putting the ball in play. Shannon Connaughton stepped up on the circle and recorded 7 draw controls. We were able to compete to win the draw battle 14-13.

On Tuesday, Pennsbury celebrated our seven amazing seniors at Falcon Field and came away with a big win against The Hun School.
Senior Abby McCole scored a season high five goals, senior Sasha Dobos scored four goals, and senior Annie Cimochowski scored two goals and also had one assist and five draw controls.
Our two senior defenders, Abby Hicks and Molly Snyder, led the defensive unit as they caused 10 turnovers on the night. Senior goalie Abby Smoyer made 11 saves in the victory. A
Also, Abby Iacona scored two goals, and Ryan Burdette and Amelia Grabski each scored one goal. Iacona and Burdette each had seven draw controls and continued to be a strong force on the circle with Cimochowski. As a team, Pennsbury scooped up a team best 42 ground balls.
