Central Bucks West rallied for 4 runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game at 11-11 against a very good Mount Saint Joseph's Academy team. The Mount led by four runs going into the seventh inning before Central Bucks West would tie the game with a four run two out rally to send the game into extra innings on the Mount Saint Joseph's home field. The top of the seventh saw the West team trailing by four runs before second baseman Hailey Worthington got the inning started by being hit by a pitch. Worthington would come all the way around to score on a double to deep center field off the bat of freshman third baseman Isabella Fedor. After a strike out Evi Cherry kept the game alive when she reached base on an infield error by a Mount Saint Joseph's infielder. Center fielder Jill Boyle cleared the bases with a two-run triple to center field which scored both Isabella Feder and Evi Cherry. After a failed bunt attempt to score the tying run, freshman Makala Burkholder knotted up the game with a two out single that plated the 11th run for the Bucks sending the game into extra Innings. The Mount's team failed to score in their half of the eighth inning against relief pitcher Kendall Kornuszko. In the top of the eighth inning, Hailey Worthington reached base on a one out walk. Isabella Feder followed that walk with a one out single. Worthington and Feder advanced to second and third bases on a wild pitch and the stage was set for Kendall Kornuszko to try to win her own game. Kornuszko came through with a ground out game winning RBI that plate Hailey Worthington with the go ahead run in the top of the 8th inning. Kornuszo was able to retire the hard-hitting Mount team in the bottom half of the eighth inning without allowing them to score any runs to extend the game further. And finally, freshman third baseman Isabella Feder had three hits on the afternoon including a big double in the seventh inning to help get the four out rally started. Freshamn pitcher Brielle Jenner started for the Bucks, but she was eventually relieved by Kendall Kornuszko who finished out three and two-thirds innings for the Bucks to pick up the win. Mike Daher's comments, "This was a very big come from behind win for us against a very strong hitting Mount Saint Joseph's Academy team. They banged out 18 hits against us, and it seemed like every one of those were hit hard. They really did not get any cheap hits; they were all well hit line drives. I was really impressed with their approach at the plate as they would keep battling with two strikes until they put the ball in play. But I was really proud of our girls as they were down four runs when the seventh inning started and never quit. They put together a much needed four run seventh inning capped off by Makala Burkholder's key single to tie the game. This game was a key win for us as we are battling to get into the District One playoffs."
