Neshaminy 10, New Hope-Solebury 4
Neshaminy trailed 3-1 after one quarter but rebounded from a slow start to outscore the host Lions 5-0 in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 6-3 advantage.
In a second half that featured more defense than offense, the ‘Skins limited the Lions to just one 
goal in the second half on their way to the non-league win.
Austin Tvarok’s five goals led the attack. Cayden Weaver had a huge night at the faceoff X, winning 13 of 16 faceoffs. Goalie Jaxon Olszewski anchored a standout defensive effort.

“Trailing 3–1 and with the Lions playing with more energy, we raised our intensity in the second 
quarter. Strong play at the face-off X (Cayden Weaver, 13-for-16 on draws), an aggressive 10-man ride that forced turnovers, and a solid team defense—led by EJ Seitz (4 CTOs, 4 GBs) and Caden Fogleman (3 CTOs, 6 GBs) roaming the midfield and defensive half—shifted momentum.
“Close defenders Carter Fregia and Nate Lenihan neutralized the Lion attack. Austin Tvarok ran the offense exceptionally well, scoring five goals, including one effort that brought our bench to its feet. Jaxon Olszewski recorded seven timely saves. Having two of our starting seniors go down to injury, props to Ryan Thierjung, Chase Brody, and Ethan Hart for stepping up and contributing productive minutes.”
Up next: Neshaminy will host Souderton Thursday, and New Hope-Solebury will host Lansdale Catholic in a non-league game Thursday.

Wissahickon 10, Upper Moreland 3

The Wissahickon Trojans (7-3) played host to Suburban One League rival Upper Moreland (8-5) in a high-stakes matchup. Led by first-year head coach Matt Beck, the Bears entered the contest with an impressive record, but the Trojans' relentless transition game proved to be the difference.
First Quarter: Back-and-Forth Action
Four minutes into the opening frame, senior Link Matozzo found sophomore Kyle Intal cutting across the crease. Intal buried the shot to give the Trojans an early 1-0 lead. The Bears answered just a minute later when senior attackman Travis Quirk dodged from "X," catching his defender off-guard and wrapping around the crease to tie the game with an off-hand finish.
Wissahickon reclaimed the momentum through senior Henry Kang, whose first of four ground balls sparked a clinical transition goal. Kang found junior Gavin Hinchcliffe, who moved it to sophomore Tyler Moore; Moore then unselfishly fed Intal for his fourth goal of the night. The Trojans capped the quarter with just 28 seconds remaining as Matozzo assisted junior Chase Comer, who charged down the alley and switched hands to make it 3-1.
Second Quarter: FOGO Dominance
The second quarter opened with a masterclass at the "X" from junior Nolan Reilly. In a dominant performance, Reilly went 14-of-15 on face-offs with 11 ground balls. Immediately after the opening draw, Reilly took it himself, sprinting down the hash marks and firing a shot past impressive freshman goalie Colin Davidson.
The Bears responded when senior Kevin Smith used a high pick to clear space in the alley. Smith attempted a feed to junior David Adamski, but a heavy hit from behind sent the ball loose. Junior James Funk was there to collect the scrap, deflecting the ball into the net to cut the lead. However, with less than a minute left in the half, Reilly struck again, dodging off a Hinchcliffe pick, hitting Hinchcliffe in a slip scoring in traffic to send the Trojans into the locker room up 5-2.
Third Quarter: The Myers and Intal Show
Upper Moreland opened the second half with a clinical two-man game. Smith and Adamski executed a perfect give-and-go, with Adamski feeding Smith for the finish.
The Trojans responded in kind. Austin Myers powered his way to the cage, beating his defender to push the lead to 6-3. On the ensuing face-off, Reilly secured the ground ball and fed Myers, who threw a "dime" to a wide-open Intal to make it 7-3.
Myers’ impact wasn't limited to scoring; his aggressive riding forced a turnover on a Bears’ clear. Kang scooped the resulting ground ball and fed Myers for a quick strike, extending the lead to 8-3.
Fourth Quarter: Closing the Door
The final frame began with a defensive highlight as freshman Hugh Sterndale landed a punishing check on a dodging Bear. Ryan Kim scooped the ground ball, and junior goalie Liam Ruhren (11 saves, 100 percent clearing rate 14) launched one of his many flawless outlet passes to junior captain Quinn McClintic. McClintic earned the "hockey assist," initiating a sequence from Moore to Intal that put the Trojans up 9-3.
Wissahickon sealed the victory when sophomore Paulo Peliggi, playing in his first varsity game of the year, found the back of the net off another assist from Myers.

While the Bears’ duo of QB1 Adamski and Smith showed why they are the quarterbacks of the Upper Moreland offense, the Trojans’ depth was too much to handle. Meyers, Intal, Moore, and Matozzo combined for a lethal offensive performance.
Notably, Nolan Reilly finished with a goal and an assist while surpassing his 100th ground ball of the season. Despite the loss, freshman goalie Colin Davidson kept the Bears in the hunt with a stellar 11-save performance.

Council Rock South 15, Holy Ghost Prep 4
Council Rock South honored 11 seniors in impressive fashion with a commanding 15–4 victory over Holy Ghost Prep.
The Golden Hawks recognized Jake Baniewicz, Jack Schink, Pat Malone, Conor McCaffery, Cole Telegadis, Tristan O’Neill, Andrew Mannherz, Tavi Slutsky, Ben McNulty, Jake Maetzig, and Trey Prozzillo before delivering a dominant performance in front of the home crowd.
South wasted no time setting the tone, jumping out to a 4–0 lead by the end of the first quarter despite playing on back-to-back late nights. At the faceoff X, Jake Baniewicz was strong, going 10-for-17 to help control possession throughout the game.
The defense was equally impressive, holding Holy Ghost Prep to just two first-half goals and limiting them to only two more after halftime.
Offensively, Hayden Cattie led the charge with a standout performance (7 goals, 2 assists), while Conor McCaffery added 5 goals and 2 assists, surpassing the 200-career-point milestone. Pat Malone contributed 3 goals and 1 assist in the win. Additional scoring came from Cole Telegadis and Lucas Lacey with one goal each, while Michael Pohar, Brody Walker, and Brendan Rooney each tallied an assist.
In goal, Trey Prozzillo anchored the defense with 14 saves in a strong showing between the pipes.
Up next: Council Rock South (8-2) will return to action next Monday when the Hawks will host North Penn.

The Indians received contributions up and down their lineup in Tuesday’s no-doubt-about-it non-league win over PJP.
The Indians did not allow a goal in the first half, opening up a 10-0 lead and cruising to the lopsided win.
Ty Sauerwald’s six-point game led a balanced Souderton attack.
