Upper Moreland 15, William Tennent 2
Thirteen different players scored as Upper Moreland rebounded from Monday’s loss to Upper Dublin by dominating William Tennent by a 15-2 count in Tuesday’s American Conference game.
Kiera Hess led the Golden Bears with two goals and three assists.
Molly McCann (1 save) and Tessa Benner (4 saves) split time in the cage to earn the win for Upper Moreland.

SOL Crossover non-league
North Penn 16, Hatboro-Horsham 3
North Penn made sure this one was never in doubt.
The Knights started strong and never let up, cruising to a 16-3 win over Hatboro-Horsham in Tuesday’s SOL Crossover game.
Quinn Rodoff led Knights with five goals and two assists, while Mila Rogozinski had four goals and two assists.
Izzy Bellano scored twice for the Hatters, while Leah Johnson added their third goal.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 13, Pennsbury 3
The visiting Colonials shut down the Pennsbury offense, blanking them in the second quarter and holding them to a single goal in each of the other three as Plymouth Whitemarsh earned a 13-3 win in Tuesday’s SOL Crossover game.
Maite Jayo led the Colonials with seven points (5 goals, 2 assists).
Annie Cimochowski, Abby McCole, and Ryan Burdette each scored one goal for the Falcons.

Pennridge 17, Quakertown 5
Pennridge scored six unanswered goals in the first quarter en route to a decisive 17-5 victory over local rival Quakertown in Tuesday’s SOL Crossover game.
Sparked by Kayla Verespy’s seven-point effort (4 goals, 3 assists) and Megan Moylan’s six points (5 goals, 1 assist), the Rams started strong and never looked back in dispatching the Panthers and improving to 7-1 overall (3-0 National Conference).

Pennridge coach Maddie Dachowski: “We had great energy tonight and walked away with a solid win. I wanted the girls to feel dominant out there and have fun.
“Overall, we were in control the whole game. I was excited to get players off the bench and into the rotation. We did let up a couple and adjusted back to our usual unit and decided to stick with what we know works and run away with it.”
—Props: “I asked Kayla (Verespy) to take on a bigger role tonight and be aggressive with individual opportunities. She is a feeder at heart and is always looking for the one more. I’m very happy with her game play tonight and look forward to continuing to watch her role form with this group.”
—Moylan making a statement: “Freshman Megan Moylan also stood out today with six points on five goals and one assist. Meg is such a talented player and I love everything she brings to this team. She has a ton of confidence and we trust her and she has taken advantage of every opportunity.”
—Scoring: “Madigan Posey put up three for her sixth hat trick of the season. Emma Gall and Gianna Leuthe both had a pair of goals and an assist to their name, and freshman Leah Boytin had a goal. Leah saw solid time tonight and I was really happy with the way she played. As the season goes, she gains more and more confidence with this group. Harper Posey was a solid presence in the midfield as always and put up solid stats today with four caused turnovers and three grounds balls.
—Looking ahead: “I am looking forward to a really competitive game this weekend vs Downingtown West. We have our eyes set on a playoff run and a game like this is exactly what we need to prepare.”

Jenkintown 15, Lower Moreland 8
Mia Rosala scored a team-leading four goals, but Jenkintown pulled away in the fourth quarter to down Lower Moreland 15-8 in Tuesday’s nonleague matchup. The Lions kept the game within striking distance, trailing 10-6 after three quarters, but could not hold back the Drakes in the final frame.

Lower Moreland coach Steve Wittmer: “Great effort from both teams. Jenkintown played strong today. We were able to battle back and keep the game close to close out the half. The third quarter was a good defensive bout with each team only letting up one goal each.”

Lower Moreland 2 3 1 1 – 8
Souderton 15, Pope John Paul II 8
Souderton poured in seven goals in the second quarter while shutting out Pope John Paul II in the frame to build a comfortable lead, and the Indians were never really threatened again as they picked up a 15-8 victory in Tuesday’s nonleague game.
Eight different players picked up points in the victory, with Carly Gavetti picking up five assists to go along with two goals and six groundballs. Addie Yost scored a team-leading four goals and also had seven draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers and groundballs.

Central Bucks East 18, Upper Perkiomen 2
It was a full team effort in Central Bucks East’s 18-2 nonleague victory over Upper Perkiomen on Tuesday, with 10 different players contributing goals.
Defensively, the team recorded 12 caused turnovers, keeping the ball in the offensive end of the field for the majority of the game.

“Despite an incredibly difficult and emotional week, the team showed tremendous strength and resilience in today’s game. The girls leaned on one another, supporting each other both on and off the field, and that sense of unity was evident from the opening draw for both the varsity and iunior varsity teams. With a strong team performance, the Patriots were able to move players around into different positions, giving everyone opportunities and allowing the group to play freely and confidently.
“It was clear that being back out on the field together provided an avenue for the team to have fun competing and to just enjoy the game.”
