The Colonials picked up the second win in as many games in their three-game series with the Cardinals. Mason Eagland’s solo home run to lead off the first effectively set the tone. In the top of the fourth, Dominic Criscuolo’s RBI single gave PW a 2-0 lead.
Upper Dublin answered with three runs in the bottom of the fifth, but that 3-2 lead was erased with a four-run sixth by the Colonials.

Key inning: Top of sixth – The Colonials staged a two-out rally when Mason Eagland and Dominic Criscuolo drew back-to-back walks. An intentional walk to Max Eagland loaded the bases. Spencer Rosen’s ground single to right plated a pair of runs, and Brody Stump’s double to left brought home a pair of runs.

“It felt like we used a lot of different facets of the game today to pull out a win.
“Offensively, we had big hits like Mason (Eagland's) home run on the first pitch of the game and Brody Stump's three hits in the middle of the lineup. But then we also had some very timely hitting like Spencer Rosen's go-ahead single in the sixth.
“It takes more than just hitting, and we got that on the mound and in the field. Max had a strong start and gave us five innings, and Nate Quirus was outstanding closing out the last two innings after we re-took the lead.
“It won't always show up in the box score, but our infield defense was impressive again all day.”
Up next: PW will travel to Upper Dublin on Tuesday for the third and final game of three-game series pitting the two teams.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 14, HARRY S TRUMAN 1
The Bucks erupted for five runs in the top of the first inning. That was more than enough for the duo of Stephen Ferdolini and Kenneth McGinnis, who combined for the win on the mound.
A nine-run third put the game out of reach and was highlighted by a two-run home run by Jacob Greer.

Key inning: Bottom of first - Highlights of a five-run first inning included singles by Jack Hogenauer and Kellen O’Connor. Chase Sabol’s double to center field drove in a run. The Bucks also benefitted from four walks.

The Panthers opened up an 8-0 lead after three innings on their way to the non-league win. Three pitchers saw action for the Panthers with William Bowen earning the win with four shutout innings to open the game. The Panthers held a 7-5 edge in hits over their visitors, led by Carter Tucholski’s three-hit effort.

Key inning: Bottom of first – Justin Hankinson and Carter Tucholski led off a four-run first inning with back-to-back singles, and the bases were loaded when Brady Martin drew a walk. Logan Niewoehner’s single drove in the game’s first run, and a second run crossed the plate when Peyton Trappler was hit by a pitch. A bases-loaded walk by Max Drews plated a run, and an RBI single by Lochlan Everitt gave the Panthers an early 4-0 lead.

“Carter Tucholski stays hot as one of the best players in the area and a sophomore. He just sees the ball well and it explodes off his bat. Justin Hankinson is a quiet guy who just does the right thing, he stays within himself and does it very well. He also reached base three times tonight, setting the table. William Bowen did a great job on the mound getting into good counts and ‘winning his 2s’ Lochlan Everitt came in and finished it all up, attacking hitters.
“Parkland is always a great club with excellent players that are well coached. Carter DeLong was a tough guy for us to get out today. Jack Street did a great job coming in and shutting us down as well.”
Up next: Quakertown will host Caesar Rodney High School in a non-league game Wednesday.
