Souderton Boys Volleyball falls to Central Bucks East in their home opener in a grueling 5 set match after taking a 2-1 lead winning a marathon 3rd set 35-33, before dropping the last 2 sets and the match. Final Scores, 25-23, 18-25, 35-33, 24-26, 13-15. Sawyer Jones and Caleb Pringle led the offense with 12 kills each. Jones also contributed on the defensive side of the net with 9 digs, while Anderson Drakas led the team in digs with 10. Setter Krish Patel ran the offense well and had 24 assists, 2 aces and 1 dig. Carson Pro and Teddy Sherman both had timely kills when they were needed most adding 5 each. Souderton is 0-1 in SOL, 0-1 overall and travel to Central Bucks South Monday March 23th at 7pm.

In a marathon match, East was able to outlast a determined Souderton squad. The Patriot’s Kyle Knorr had a big night, tallying 17 kills, a block, and 14 digs. The offense was directed by Eli Dalby who accounted for 37 assists, 2 kills, 3 aces, 3 blocks, and 12 digs. Defensively, Nick Cross was stellar, picking up 13 digs. Joe Lapeire, Graham Christopher, Nate Diodato, and Jackson Truelove each had a terrific night. Lapeire - 8 kills, 2 aces, 15 digs.
