The Wissahickon Trojans hosted their arch rival Upper Dublin Cardinals on Friday evening for their first conference match of the season. Wiss prevailed in 3 sets against a tough Cardinal team. The Trojans featured a well balanced attack with 8 players earning kills led by Senior Jonas Sabia with 13(13 Kills, 1 Block, 1 Assist and 4 Digs). Senior Justin Pak dished out 21 Assists, to go with 8 Kills, 1 Block and 6 Digs. Senior Dean Bowers got the team going quickly in the match with 2 early kills(4 for the match) and 2 Blocks. Freshman Raahil Ithikaat electrified the crowd with 4 big Kills to go along with 2 Blocks. Reed Harris added 7 Kills, 6 Blocks, 14 Assists and 9 Digs. Next week the Trojans run the gauntlet of CB Schools starting with CB West on Monday. Go Wiss!
