A low scoring first half where the Knights played strong team defense allowing them to go to halftime with a 2-1 lead. The Knights opened it up early in the 3rd extending the lead to 5-1, by winning draws and creating more space on the offensive end. Upper Merion found momentum in the latter half of the 3rd, evening the score 5-5 heading into the 4th. The Knights regained the lead, 6-5 , but the Vikings found their groove in transition and took an 8-6 lead with 4 minutes left and stalled the rest of the way. For the Knights, Maddie Gorman led the way with 7 draw controls and 3 goals. Mila Rogozinski chipped in 2 goals and an assist while freshman Joelle Davenport notched her first varsity goal.
