Council Rock North Comments
Council Rock North High School battled Pennsbury High School in a tough, physical matchup, and the Rock Girls responded with a complete team effort to come away with an impressive victory against a strong Pennsbury squad.

A major highlight for Pennsbury came from Sasha Dobos, who scored her 100th career goal while recording a hat trick performance. It was a milestone moment for the Falcons, but Council Rock North’s offensive firepower and steady defensive play proved too much to overcome.

Leading the way for North was captain Olivia Esposito, who delivered another dominant all-around performance with 4 goals, 2 ground balls, 7 draw controls, and a free-position goal. Captain Cat McBride matched that offensive output with 4 goals and 5 draw controls, continuing to set the tone in transition and attack.

Captain Gabby Mann orchestrated much of the offense, finishing with 2 goals, 4 assists, and 2 ground balls, helping create scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Additional scoring came from Addison Deppi, who added 1 goal and 2 ground balls, while Stella Allain also contributed with a goal. Kattelyn Campanelli chipped in with an assist.

With standout midfielder Ellie Carney sidelined by injury, Council Rock North continued to show depth. Clara Altier stepped up with 3 ground balls and 2 draw controls, while Isabel “Izzy” Wielehowski made a major impact with 4 ground balls and 2 draw controls, helping stabilize the midfield and defensive transition.

In goal, Mia Luna and the entire defensive unit turned in a strong effort, limiting quality opportunities and keeping an excellent Pennsbury team under pressure throughout the contest.

Council Rock North continues to show why it remains one of the area’s toughest teams, combining leadership, depth, and strong two-way play as the season moves forward
